The Solvent Amendment Order dated 5 June 2000 and subsequent Solvent Control Order provisions identify scheduled products for which licensing requirements can apply. We assist industries with solvent licensing and related storage approvals.
Products Treated as Solvents
Heptane, Resol, NGL, Pentane, Laxon, Solvent-90, Aromax, Lomax, SBP Spirits / SBP Solvents, C-9 Solvents / Raffinates, MTO, C-6 Raffinates, Hexane and MFO are among the products listed by the old website for solvent-control purposes.
Solvent Control Requirements
The old site notes that the amended Solvent Control Order came into force from 1 January 2002 and states an exemption where combined solvent consumption is 50 KL per month or less and storage is 20 KL or less, subject to the applicable order and current legal requirements.
