MA-I & MA-II Licenses

• MA-I is used for acquisition, storage and use of methanol under the applicable Gujarat prohibition framework.
• MA-II applies to sale of methanol under the applicable Gujarat requirements.
• We also assist with additions, alterations, amendments and renewals of these licenses.

Prohibition Department Licenses

Support covers fresh licenses, renewals, additions and alterations, transfers and amendments for applicable ethanol, methanol, ethyl alcohol, MA-I, MA-II, DS-5 and RS-1 related permissions.

Storage, Use & Sale Requirements

• For applicable methanol storage, PESO licensing under petroleum-related rules may be required.
• For use of methanol in Gujarat, the old site identifies MA-I licensing from the Prohibition Department.
• For sale of methanol in Gujarat, the old site identifies MA-II and poison-license requirements.
• For sale in Maharashtra, poison licensing through the relevant authority is identified; other states may have their own excise or poison requirements.

Methanol Storage Guidance
